Our client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented immigration paralegal who can work fully remotely while supporting U.S. attorneys and clients. This role is ideal for a bilingual professional with prior experience handling U.S. immigration cases in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and support immigration cases based on the candidate’s area of experience, including:
• Employment-Based Immigration (if applicable):
o H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140, I-485, and related filings
• Humanitarian & Family-Based Immigration (if applicable):
o Family petitions, adjustment of status
o Asylum, VAWA, U visas, T visas, TPS, DACA
o Complete and review USCIS forms and supporting documentation
• Draft case correspondence, cover letters, and filing packets
• Communicate with clients in Spanish and English via email, phone, and virtual meetings
• Track case deadlines, filings, and follow-ups
• Maintain organized digital case files and accurate records
• Coordinate closely with attorneys and legal staff
Previous Experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience handling U.S. immigration matters
• Experience in either employment-based immigration OR humanitarian and/or family-based immigration
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
• Strong understanding of USCIS procedures and immigration forms
• Proficiency with case management platforms (such as Clio or Mycase)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines
• Availability to work U.S. business hours
• Stable and reliable high-speed internet connection
• Professional remote work setup (computer, headset, and quiet workspace)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with U.S.-based teams
