The point we're making is that your ideal prospects are being bombarded with marketing emails all the time and if your email isn’t short and extremely relevant then it's heading into the bin!
Along with all of these marketing emails your prospects are busy with their day-to-day work which means that in order to stand out you must quickly and clearly communicate your value proposition.
Your emails should be no longer than 200 words long - if you’re able to use 100 words then all the better.
The key is to remember that you will not sell your service or product through an email., tThe sole purpose of the email is to get prospects to raise their hands to a problem that you can help solve. They should be able to read the email and feel one of two things:.

The email was relevant, but the timing is off
One piece of advice I’d give to any business when prospecting is to introduce your solution at a high level. You want to talk about the benefits and transformations whilst loosely skimming over features.

Here’s an example of how this would look in the real world if you were selling marketing services to businesses.
GREETING:
Hi Name,
I hope your Friday isn’t flying by too quickly and you can find a couple of minutes for a super quick intro chat.
INTRO:
I’m hoping to book some time with you next week to chat about how my agency (agency name) can help (company name) generate more revenue on a monthly basis just like we have for (client 1 and client 2) - clients must be in the same industry
ABOUT YOU + SOLUTION:
You may have heard of us - We’re a digital marketing company with a ton of experience in the (industry sector). We help companies like yours grow with PPC advertising designed to get (company name) in front of the people who are most in need of a (service they provide).
Interestingly, Our average (industry client) grows their revenue by (number) in (number of months) just by partnering with us.
